Prize-giving

On Wednesday 15th of December my school had prize-giving. It was really cool, but sad because it was the last time i got to see my friends and the last time at Otorohanga Primrary. During prize-giving we had to wait through boring speeches.I got a cup for Most inproved year eight. I will miss everyone there.

My Friends

I have five friends, three in Otorohanga and two in Hamilton. My friends are the best friends i've ever had. They like to play with me everyday and we listern to each other.Casey, Nicole, Dani, Dacinda and Olivia you guys are the best ever.
Mrs Robertson my teacher is cool too. I only wrote that because i might get in trouble.LOL

Goldentime trip

At the end of the term my school will be going to Water World in Hamilton. But if you lose to much goldentime you can't go to the pools but if you are good most of the time like me you can go. Its really cool there. Sometimes they have three hydroslides open or just two.Three inside pools and one cool outside pool. There is also a  playground but that is for little kids. I can't wait to go and have fun with my friends.

The icon that represents New Zealand is the Kiwi.

 We're the only country that has kiwis living in  it.

They are also our icon because they are really rear.

These kiwis in the pictures are in Otorohanga.

A 'must see' place

This is post is for Challenge 3 Activity 2.

The 'must see ' place in New Zealand is the Waitomo caves. There are a couple of caves there, but the best one is the glowworm cave. There are haeps of glow worms in the cave.

This term Room 8 is doing speeches. The whole class got to pick what their speech is about. My speech is about smoking. We have to do it in front of the whole class.

My holiday

In the holidays i went to my mums in the first week and my dads in the second. In the first week i went to my Grandads farm for 4 days and helped feed the calves,make a shed for some of the calves. Grandad gave me fifty dollors on Friday,  then in the second week i went to the T.A pools and Mc Donalds. My holidays were cool.

Why you should visit my blog

This post is for Challenge 1 in the September 2010 challenge.
People should visit my blog because i like to do fun things and in my class we do videos and prezis of things that we are learning and things that have happened. I would post about things that were fun and what has been happening in my school and Otorohanga. People will learn about my school, me and Otorohanga.

Why i picked my theme.

I picked my theme because it's goes well with my favourite colour and it is really close to purple too. It took awhile but it wasn't that hard to find the colour and theme i wanted. I was looking for something purple or blue and someting cool. There wasn't really anything i wanted but it was really close.

In the weekend

In the weekend i went to my friends Casey's house.  I stayed all weekend and we had lots of fun. On Friday after school we watched Boy and ate a whole bag of lollies, we also made some biscuts. Then on Saturday we went ten pin bowling and i won, 55-20. After that we had pizzas for lunch and we brought lollies too. That night we made a remake of Party in the USA it's called Party in Wellington. On sunday we went on the computer for an hour. I had lunch and went home.
